This is an experience where you can paint a replica of the only "Komaneko" cat in Japan, enshrined in the grounds of the Kijimasha shrine of Kotohira Shrine in Mineyama Town. The cat was a "guardian cat" of Tango Chirimen, used to scare away mice that eat silkworms.

②Paint the unglazed Komaneko cat with acrylic paint.

Big cat: Height 20cm, width 16cm, depth 22cm, circumference 60cm
As each piece is baked by hand, there are individual differences and the sizes are approximate.
You can take your finished work home with you, or you can donate it to Kotohira Shrine. If you choose to take it home, it will be placed in a box and taken home once the paint has dried.
