What is Craft Gin?
Kyotango's "Water"
We conducted water quality surveys at various points on the Tango Peninsula and discovered "ultra-soft water" and "ultra-hard water."
While extra-soft water spreads gently inside the mouth, extra-hard water has the characteristic of expanding the taste sensations felt by the tongue.
It is also made with a particular focus on the natural gift of water, which harmonizes with the fresh craft gin.
Kyotango's "Forest"
At an altitude of 683m, over 300 kinds of medicinal herbs and trees grow naturally in the mountain forests of the Tango Peninsula.
This gin is distilled from fresh, hand-picked plants, and has a taste and aroma that evokes the lush forests of Tango.
It is crafted to bring out the characteristics of 14 botanicals, including traditional spices, Kuromoji harvested on the day of distillation, and Kumazasa roasted on hot stones.
A craft gin that "smells like the forest," capturing the blessings of the forest along with its breath.
What I want to create
While living in harmony with the uncharted nature of the Tango Peninsula, we treasure the connections between the forest, water, and people, and we take our time and effort to carefully finish each piece.
We make gin by facing nature and asking ourselves, "What kind of richness do we need now?" Rather than mechanical mass production, we listen to the voice of the land and seek out the drops that reflect the local climate.

In 2025, more than 5,000 spirits from around the world will be judged by 55 experienced expert judges. They will be rigorously evaluated through "blind tasting" in which no label or brand information is revealed.
Among them, the "Double Gold" is an honorable title given only to products that are unanimously rated as a "Gold Award" by all judges, and is the highest title that distillers around the world aspire to.

In the mountains of Kyotango, we live in harmony with the flow of nature and the earth.
Exploring and exploring a life through distillation.
Its role is to serve as a source of information.

Gin is one of the four major spirits along with vodka, rum, and tequila, but in recent years, as ingredients and production methods have been further refined, "craft gin" has been attracting attention.
Craft gin uses botanicals unique to each distillery. For this reason, it is called "drinkable perfume" and its appeal is that it has a strong regional flavor, with the aroma coming from the ingredients used in each region.
Many of the gins are made with carefully selected ingredients, allowing you to enjoy high-quality, flavorful gin.
