-A fruit trail unique to Kyotango-

Kyotango is a place where you can eat lots of fruit all year round.
In particular, there are many fruit direct sales stores and orchards scattered along National Route 178 from Amino Town to Kumihama Town.

Every year from early July to the end of October, the Kyotango Fruit Trail, an event unique to a fruit-producing region, is held.
During the event, you can enjoy original drinks, smoothies, sweets, and more made with seasonal fruits from Kyotango.

Watermelon, melon, peach, grape, pear, sweet potato, etc.
One of the joys is that the fruits that appear change with the seasons.

Visit participating stores on the Fruit Trail and collect stamps to receive an original badge.

Kyotango Fruit Trail

-Fresh and varied products at a direct sales store from the farm-

There is a wide variety of fresh grapes and pears, all harvested that morning, lined up in front of the store.

Depending on the season, grapes include Kyoho, Pione, Shine Muscat, Rosario Bianco, Rosario Rosso, Shinano Smile, Seto Giants, and some farms grow more than 10 types of grapes. It's exciting to wonder what types are on display at the store at the moment.

-High sugar content and juicy-

The deliciousness of Kyotango fruits comes from the difference in temperature between day and night, well-drained soil, and the careful cultivation methods used by each farm, all of which are carefully cultivated.

Pears can be enjoyed from mid-August to late November. Depending on the season, varieties such as Kosui, Akiei, Hosui, Nijisseiki and Gold Nijisseiki are available from mid-August, and sweeter, larger varieties such as Shinko, Oushu and Bansankichi are available from around October until November.

Because there are so many varieties, it's a good idea to talk to the farmers at the store and ask them about them. You might find a flavor that suits your taste.
