Kyoto Prefecture provides information on traffic restrictions due to construction work on public roads.
Please feel free to use it when you go out.

~Snowfall information and camera information~
Snowfall and camera information is only provided during the winter season (December 12st to March 1th of the following year).
On expressways, restrictions are in place on the use of winter tires (anti-skid devices) depending on snowfall conditions.
Regardless of the amount of snow, there is a risk of roads freezing in the early morning, at night, and in mountainous areas.
Please bring studded tires or chains.
When driving on frozen roads, we recommend driving slowly enough that you can stop without braking.
