Komaneko Festival Town Walking Tour

Enjoy a hot day with a guide in the "town of cats and Tango Chirimen"
"Koma Neko Festival Town Walking Tour"

Tango Chirimen was designated a Japan Heritage Site in 2017, and will celebrate its 2020th anniversary in 300. In Kyotango City, where it originated, advanced techniques have supported the region for many years, and the culture surrounding chirimen still lives on today. Japan's only guardian cats are one example of this. Tango Chirimen and cats create connections between people, and on this day, fun events gather in the town of Mineyama. Come along with a guide and explore the fun-filled town of Mineyama!
