Crystal Beach

The large grains of quartz mixed in with the sand make the whole beach sparkle. If you scoop up some with your hand, you can clearly see the transparent quartz.

You can experience hand weaving Tango Chirimen and dyeing handkerchiefs. There is also a museum shop selling local products, so you can shop there too.

Amino Choshiyama Tomb

This 201m long keyhole-shaped tumulus is the largest along the Sea of Japan coast. It offers a great view of the town and the Sea of Japan below.

Cafe Kousyumaru

The beach is 2 meters away. As soon as you go up to the second floor, you'll be greeted by a view that will make you scream with joy. A cafe with a great view where you can also eat seafood bowls.

Inugasaki Walking

The promenade that stretches along the cape is about 20 minutes away, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. Depending on the season, you may also be able to see some lovely coastal plants.

Tango Matsushima

As its name suggests, it is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, Matsushima, and offers a beautiful view of the islands stretching out in the sea. There is also an observation point where you can park your car and enjoy the view.

National Route 178, which runs along the coastline, is a great place for a drive. We also recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise that paints the sea a beautiful color.

Kyogamisaki Lighthouse

This white lighthouse stands on a cliff 148m above sea level and uses a rare first-class lens, one of only five in Japan. (Nationally Important Cultural Property)

Ukawa Onsen Yoshinosato

The "Sea Onsen" offers a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan from the bath, while the "Mountain Onsen" is an open-air bath that is full of a sense of freedom. The daytime bath is the best as you can enjoy the scenery.

Roadside Station Tango Kingdom "Food Kingdom"
