Otome Shrine
It is located at the foot of Mount Isosa, where Japan's oldest legend of the feathered robe remains.
In addition to the legend recorded in the Tango Fudoki, this region has a legend about a hunter named Sanemon and a celestial maiden called the Feather Robe.
The heavenly maiden and Sanemon are said to have had three beautiful daughters, one of which is enshrined at Otome Shrine.

Over 100 maple trees are planted in the nearby village of Tennyo, and the Maple Tree Festival is held there every year in early November.
